Student Teaching....Finally!

I know, I know, I never post on this thing but I figured I'd better start again at least for a little while. :) Well, I'm finally starting my student teaching this semester at......Woodland Park Middle School! Yep, it's the same place I taught at last year but this time I'm actually finishing my Masters program and credential by teaching subjects I actually know/like!

I'll be teaching 2 periods of Language Arts, 2 periods of Ancient World History, 1 period of World History, and 1 period of U.S. History. For the very few teachers I know out there who might be reading this, yes, I will have a lot of prep work cut out for me but I'm just too excited to be moving forward with my career to care all that much! :)

Anyway, hope everyone is doing well and enjoyed their holidays. Now onward and upward!

Even though you called me a name I don't answer too, thank you for congratulating me. I know, I can't believe I'm a mom either!
That's exciting that you're getting your master's! Jared is doing his student teaching right now at Orem high, he's an English teaching major so he's teaching English (obviously). He got really lucky though because he only teaches one class (6 periods) but has two prep periods! I think that's pretty rare. Good luck to you though!

That's awesome Brandini! I had no idea you were getting your Masters. Where at? CSUSM? My good friend just finished her student teaching...she is GLAD to be done, mainly cause she was with a teacher who was LAME. =) Best of luck!

Wow, that sounds like a tough schedule. Good thing you like all of those subjects though. All teachers tell me that the work gets exponentially easier as times goes on. Congrats on the good placement!
